everybody understands what the United Way is about and what it does for

If We're Going to Change the World, than more People are Needed
The 2011-2012 Fundraising Campaign for the United Way of South
Central Nebraska kicked off on Saturday, August 27, 2011! We believe the
United Way Team to be the best team for all of us as leaders and
businesses to have the greatest impact. The United Way of South Central
Nebraska financially supports 20 member agencies and over 50 programs
in a four county area. The United Way carefully evaluates the needs of
our community to ensure your dollars are used to solve the root problems
plaguing people in south central Nebraska every day.
We hope that this year YOU will play for the United Way and
help us continue the fight for improving education, financial stability,
and health in Adams, Clay, Nuckolls, and Webster counties!
October 3, 2011 - Mary Lanning Memorial Healthcare employees presented the United Way a check in the amount of $70,000 for the 2011-2012 Fundraising Campaign. Thank you MLMH employees for the generous gifts and support!
October 17, 2011 - Early Bird Campaign Prizes winners announced. Congrats to John & Peg Welch for winning the Big Game Package, Kevin & Paige Wycoff for winning the Big Game at Home Package, and Frank Gourley for winning the Tailgater's Dream Package.
