How United Way Funds are used:
United Way funding provides training and education, travel and public awareness.  The impact of the program is measured by the number of children who have found a safe and permanent home.  United Way funding helps ensure that children do not "get lost" in an over-burdened juvenile court system.

Programs/Services Provided:

CASA provides "best interest" advocacy to children ages birth to 19, who have been removed from their homes for abuse or neglect.  CASA assigns volunteer citizens who are committed to ensuring that every child has the right to a safe and permanent home, to oversee abuse and neglect cases involving children in Adams, Clay, Nuckolls, and Webster counties in Nebraska.
