Mission: The YWCA of Adams County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
Service Area: Adams, Clay, Nuckolls, and Webster counties

Programs/Services Provided: The YWCA serves women with a variety of youth and adult programs, including fitness classes, The Zone after-school program, Career Closet, Source, summer activities and classes, Nebraska birthday party for fourth graders, Week Without Violence, multicultural experiences, Tribute to Women, Home and Garden Tours, and the 4th of July parade.
How United Way Funds are used: United Way funds are used to provide educational, training, and support to women and families of Adams County.
Youth Outreach and Education: The YWCA's goal is to help combat learning losses and enhance school curriculum by providing fun "hand-on" educational classes, and learning experiences and to provide opportunities for families, fulfilling the mission of empowering young women. Impact Area: Education

After School Zone: Through the Zone the YWCA's goal is to provide a safe, supervised, drug and alcohol free, caring, and enriching environment, operating the hours between 3:30pm to 8:30pm. Impact Area: Education
